Where to start... How about band camp? So, I got there on Sunday with Kaleb and tried out earlier than all other Owasso kids, which probably got me into first band and not second. So I was expecting fourth or fifth band, but I got to stand there in shock at my accomplishment of making first band. The first rehearsel was on the first night so we load up the buses and they ship us off. In regular band you count, finger, air play and start notes at a time. In Band camp, your director says "Alright, 1-2-Ready-Go and you're failing at everything possible, trying to keep up, and feeling kinda low. They then slow it down and help. Then, they say see you tomorrow, and send you to the dorms. So, after you have your camp and floor meetings they say "10 minutes till lights out!" and then you go to sleep, or should I say lay in your bed for an hour trying to sleep and finally getting to sleep at 12, the worst thing you could imagine happens. Any guessses? The fire alarm goes off. Of all things, the fire alarm. Just in the Owasso boys dorm too, but eventually we all go back to bed after half an hour. So, back in the room, check my phone 3:30. Then after I get to sleep, it was no big deal right? The firemen didnt find anything, and nothing else happened that night. Except the alarm going off again. 400 young men standing on the sidewalk at 4 in the morning in sleeping clothes, expecting about 8 hours of band the next day is not a pretty sight. Guess what it was? A kid eating cheez-its and having the dust fly into the fire alarm?!?!?? Come on!
Next day, Nothing much, a few new pieces and new quality of food... The ever so famous, makes me gag, Boiled Bacon, is a green form of UofA Band Camp eggs. Its a good thing Sam-I-Am skipped his visit to the kitchen, eh?
Fast forward a day of normality and refusing NOS/Coffee, and we arrive at the morning practice of wednesday. My director excpected us to play a new song correct on the first time we looked at it. Of course he yelled at us. Good for your confidence in abilities. eh?
The song we didnt play though, the concert was AMAZINGLY AMAZING! Just ask Nonna and Papa. And now for other miscellaneous events.
Yesterday was Mom's birthday! Happy Birthday!
Today was the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing too!
What a great week! (or so)

Today, I went food shopping for band camp with ma. Lots of fun, we got some chips, oreos, and an assortment of gatorade. Afterwards, I went over to Brennan's house and did my favorite thing, play drums! I'm getting better and my double bass speed is getting ever faster. Today was a great day! Feel free to follow my twitter. I wonder what's for dinner....
Surgery

Monday I had surgery, not as nervous as i thought, but nervous nonetheless. The "I don't care" medicine made me go into a 3 minute laughing fit. When I woke up no laughs were spared at my expense. I don't remember much of anything because of the medicine, but a little bit. The end result looks great, but I can't touch it, which gets really annoying.
I am still trying to find out who has or will set up a twitter.

I am incredibly sorry, I keep trying to start blogging again.
On Monday I got the bump on my eye removed, and it's looking good. umm... nothing else much. Also, I was wondering if anyone has or is going to set up a twitter account? if so just comment.
